“You are Responsible for Your Life, What You Do with it is Up to You!”

Updated: Sep 11, 2019

When a teacher teaches a lesson, each student will hear the same lesson but their level of interpretation will differ.  In order to understand what’s being taught, they have to find a way to make each lesson relevant to their lives i.e. composition writing vs. writing lyrics to a song or math vs. sports statistics.  Each lesson is meant challenge the student’s level of thought, what they do with the knowledge afterwards is up to them.   As adults when life’s responsibilities begin to weigh us down, many have the tendency to shift the blame for their shortcomings whether it’s growing up in an unstable home, drug & alcohol abuse, a lack of opportunities, etc.  However difficult the situation, we are responsible for finding a way to overcome those difficulties. The easiest thing for any of us to do would be to complain and look for fault; the hardest thing would be to go through the challenge and seek a solution to the problem.  Everyone has problems…EVERYONE!  No one is responsible for making your life work but you…everybody else is trying to figure out their own role in this life.   In order to get to the next level or to watch your dreams unfold it takes work, work that only can be accomplished by you.  It takes just as much energy to sit around and do nothing than to get up, discover your life’s purpose and do something.  One of the enemy’s greatest weapons is laziness.  If he can cause you to be lazy then he can cause you to waste time and before you know it 3, 5, 10 years have passed and now, not only are you’re older you’re still doing the same thing.  Each day that passes leads us closer to our exit.  We’re running out of time…when it’s gone it’s gone.   This IS NOT a rehearsal this is your life; what you do with it is up to
